Movement and Acting Classes
In my teaching I utilize psycho-physical movement work to connect the actor to impulse, acknowledge the body as an archive, and create an energetic body that reflects and roots the actor in their given circumstances.
The technique assists the actor in accessing the full expressive power of their unique physical instrument.
Actors learn how to use the body to fulfill character with truth and specificity. The process inspires a ritual of preparedness that generates awareness, curiosity, responsiveness, empathy, and confidence.
As Artistic Director and co-founder of Vermont Shakespeare Festival, I have taught Shakespeare and acting workshops to artists of all ages and experience levels.
